Hi I’m Mallory (Mitchell) Hammer! Welcome to our little shop, Flourishing in Faith. I’ve been dreaming of being a business owner since studying for my Bachelors degree in Business at Emporia State University. However, God had a different plan and gave me a little detour. In March of 2018 I was in an accident while having my wisdom teeth removed. I suffered an anoxic brain injury. For the last five years, I have been working extremely hard to recover, attending therapy five days a week. I am re-learning to walk, talk, use my hands, and improve my vision. God is healing me one day at a time. He is teaching me patience, resilience and giving me the strength to push through. The name Flourishing in Faith came from my promise to God that I will always be thankful for him and encourage others to believe in him.
 
My Mom, Cindi Mitchell, is my partner and anchor in our business. We bought a 1969 Frolic camper and my Dad, John, and husband, Kyle, have transformed it into the perfect small business venture that I have been envisioning since day one. We have incorporated my therapy by making some of the products that we sell, which has been super fun! With the support and help of my family, I have been picking berries for jams, pressing t- shirts, pouring lip balm, painting furniture, and finding products that I love. We have been in business for three years now and are enjoying every step of the adventure!
